⚠️ Important Notice: Weight & Legal Compliance (Florida / Tampa)

• Structurally: Flatbed/car hauler trailers can physically handle high loads when used correctly.

• Legally in Florida: Road weights are limited by axle and gross limits under F.S. 316.535 and the bridge formula. Florida sets 20,000 lb per single axle and caps total gross based on axle spacing; overweight moves require permits and face per-pound penalties.

• City of Tampa: Trucks must use designated truck routes; violations can be cited per city ordinance—plan your route accordingly.

Smart usage (flatbeds):

• Use this trailer for vehicles/equipment within posted payload and tow-vehicle ratings; stay under legal road weights (often 10k–12k lb limits are the practical ceiling for light combinations once axle spacing & GVWR are considered). Overweight loads may be refused, fined, or require permits.
